Trans. N. Wahid Azal
In the Name of God the Compassionate, the Merciful!
Glorified art Thou, O God my God, I beseech Thee by Thy beneficence through which hath been opened the gates of Thy grace and bestowal, and by which is established the Talismanic-Temple of Thy Holiness upon the Throne of Subsistence! And by Thy Mercy through which the existential possibilities were called [into being] at the situs of Thy Nobility and Thy Conferral! And by Thy grace through which, before all else, hath been existentially necessitated within Thy Logos-Self whatsoever is in the Heavens and in the earth for the sake of the amble of the manifestation of Thy Reign and the dawning of the tremendousness of Thy Order! And by the Word of Thy initiation and by these the Most Beautiful Names of Mightiness! And by these the Supernal Attributes of Utmost Generosity and by Thy invocatory Remembrance, the High, the Supreme! And by the utmost Magnanimity, the uttermost Clarity of Thy Beauty and by Thy Hidden Light within the pavilion of total Mystery! And by Thy Name the Enveloper of the chemise of affliction in every morn and eve, [I beseech Thee] to protect the bearer of this blessed leaf [‘or page’ i.e. this prayer], and then whosoever recites it, and then whosoever comes to encounter it, and then whosoever passes around the vicinity of the house wherein it occurs! And then heal by it thereby all those ailing, unwell and despondent from every affliction, pestilence, burden, difficulty, loathsomeness and grief! And then guide by it whosoever Thou desirest to enter upon the way of Thy guidance and the paths of Thy grace and Thy forgiveness! Verily Thou art the Tremendous, the Sufficient, the Healer, the Protector, the Bestower, the Clement, the Generous [and] the Merciful!
